The record

Denmark sent a battalion to the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus when it formed in March 1964, and for the first years DANCON brought its own vehicles from home — among them the Danish Army's standard 12-volt Series II 109-inch Land Rovers, which had been bought in the late 1950s and early 1960s in soft-top and hard-top form. They served in UN markings on the island's patrol and liaison duties until the contingent switched to British-leased Lightweights, after which the Series IIs went back to Denmark.

The Danish Army Vehicles Homepage photograph shows one on a Cyprus road with a Bedford behind: soft top with the canvas up, faded sand-khaki paint, the Danish military registration 19 DM 29 on the bumper, a yellow tactical disc on the right wing front and a small Dannebrog on the left. The registry model reproduces that vehicle on the Series II 109 soft top, with UN in white on the doors as the contingent's UN marking; the exact placement of the UN lettering is not legible in the photograph.
