The record
Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, based at Grassington, covers the Yorkshire Dales fells and caves around Wharfedale and runs two Defender 110 mountain rescue ambulances, Fell 1 (PO59 ODU) and Fell 2 (YJ64 BRF, a 2014-registered Defender), photographed together by ukemergency.co.uk in January 2021. Fell 2 wears the same livery as its sister — orange with the rear side windows panelled in white, MOUNTAIN RESCUE AMBULANCE in blue on the rear quarters, FELL 2 and the Mountain Rescue cross on the rear doors, two rows of red and white chequer, a winch bumper and snorkel — but carries its blue lights as small landscape lamps set in the black grille, and its roof rack is loaded with climbing gear, rope bags and a short ladder for cave and crag rescues.
The registry's model shares the Fell 1 body with the grille lamps, YJ64 BRF plates and the climbing kit and ladder on the rack, which drop as cargo in the game alongside the blue-light boost and winch pickups.
