Wolf 110 R+WMIK.

The Dunsfold Collection's Wolf 110 R+WMIK, R985 NUF: a 2012 replica built from three damaged prototypes of the final stage of the WMIK programme — the R-WMIK's V-hull and ring mount plus armoured floor and side protection, a Ricardo 2.8 TDi with Discovery automatic, uprated suspension and brakes for 4.1 tonnes, run-flat wheels and a Dana rear axle — in desert sand.

The record

The Weapons Mount Installation Kit turned the Wolf 110 into a gun truck, and the WMIK programme kept evolving through Iraq and Afghanistan: the E-WMIK added electronic countermeasures and stowage, the R-WMIK of 2008 re-lifed the vehicle with a V-shaped belly plate and new running gear, and the R+WMIK was the last step. Fifty were converted in 2011–12 on the E-WMIK base with armoured floor and side protection, a Ricardo 2.8 TDi diesel and a four-speed Discovery automatic gearbox, air-locking differentials on a 4:1 ratio with a lower transfer box, a Dana rear axle and heavy-duty run-flat wheels, and suspension and brakes uprated for a 4.1-tonne gross weight. The ring mount takes three weapon fits, and swing-out side arms carry ditch-crossing ramps.

R985 NUF is not a service vehicle but a replica assembled from three damaged R+WMIK prototypes and registered in 2012, which the Dunsfold Collection acquired to represent the end of the WMIK line. The photograph shows it in desert sand with the full-height armoured side panels on the rear body, armoured door panels on the cab, a flat protected roof plate over the crew on the cage, a GPMG on the passenger pintle and a heavy machine gun on the ring, a snorkel and sand-coloured alloys. The model follows it and, as the queue asked, is built up from the registry's R-WMIK with the additional armour; the game gives it the armoured vehicles' protection perk as well as the WMIK gun.
