The record

The Pembrokeshire Ice Cream Co. serves the beaches of south-west Wales with four-wheel-drive vans that can drive onto the sand. Its 1986 Land Rover 110, C714 MNT, carries a rounded fibreglass ice cream body over the One Ten's cab and chassis: a Luton peak above the cab with a STOP ME & BUY ONE sign, a large serving window and menu boards on the nearside, Drinks, Ice Cream and Lollies lettering on the peak, PEMBROKESHIRE ICE CREAM Co along the sides and an orange band round the sills and wheel arches. Before it came to Wales the van belonged to Kelly's Ices of Cornwall, and in their colours it featured in a 2012 Land Rover calendar; the Pembrokeshire Ice Cream Co. bought it and repainted it, and it was photographed in service on the beach in June 2013 with the company's 1977 Range Rover ice cream van and again trading in Tenby harbour in August 2015. Its coachbuilder is not recorded. The queue listed the ex-Kelly's van and C714 MNT separately; the 2015 Tenby photograph shows the same registration, so both rows point at this model.

The registry's model keeps the Defender 110 cab and front and adds the rounded-peak body, serving window, orange band, signs and plates from the photograph.
