The record
Joint-Forces.com's Military Land Rovers series (part 38) describes two batches of Defender 110 station wagons in Finnish service. After the near-civilian first batch, the Finnish Rapid Deployment Force took a second, partially militarised batch of Td5 station wagons around 2005. These were Fitted For Radio communications vehicles with integrated bumper winches, bull bars, brush and steering guards, raised air intakes, large roof racks and multiple antennae, running on pierced steel rims with studded winter tyres. The photographed example, on a snowy Norwegian exercise, carries FRDF on the doors, a short rear roof rack with an amber lamp bar, two whip antennae and a rear-door spare.
The registry's model shares the Finnish station wagon body with the rack, lamp bar and antennae, bull bar, winch and raised intake, black pierced wheels and FRDF lettering; in the game it carries winch pickups.
