The record

Brazil led the military component of the UN Stabilisation Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) from 2004 until the mission closed in 2017, and its marines — the Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais — took their own Defenders, the Brazilian Navy having bought Defender 90 and 110 soft tops in the 1990s and 2000s. In Haiti they were repainted UN white with UN fleet plates and used for the endless checkpoint and patrol work in Port-au-Prince's districts.

The Wikimedia Commons photographs from May 2017 show one of the 90s at a checkpoint: doors taken off for the heat and quick dismounts, the olive canvas tilt left up, a white A-bar carrying two whip aerials, the CFN fleet number stencilled across the bonnet and on the bumper, UN plates and the spare on the rear door. The registry model is the Defender 90 soft top with the door skins and door tops removed to open the apertures, and those fittings added.
