The record
Carawagon International's 1970 'Continental & Ultimate' brochure paired its two long-distance models: the Continental with its rear annexe, and the Ultimate, the fully specified expedition camper on the Series IIA 109 station wagon with every option — the elevating roof and fitted interior of the de Luxe plus the touring equipment the cover artwork shows on a white car in Moscow's Red Square: a roof rack loaded with cases and bags, jerrycans mounted sideways in triangular holders on the front bumper corners, a small silver tool box on each wing and the registration VPH 74G. Hermen Vlothuizen's brochure archive preserves the leaflet.
The registry's model is a white Series IIA 109 station wagon with the rack and its load, which drops as cargo in the game, the bumper jerrycans and holders and the wing tool boxes.
